A path to the glory
Long ago, in ancient times, a monk named Illidan serves the Old Gods. Although he is very yong, he owns a pretty big house. Now Illidan is disturbed by a turbulent situation for his country called Kalimdor “land of red dragon”. Because the old king lost his life on the battlefield and many other countries are planning to invade it.
A few days ago, the prophet of Kalimdor told everyone who can draw the magic sword Calibur from the stone will become our king and lead us to triumph. A lot of noblemen attempt to draw it, but no one succeeded. Due to Illidan’s faith, he is not interested in being the king. So he does everything as usual. However, one day, a strange man who calls himself Marfurion give Illidan a ruler with mysterious characters, and then leave without any other word. To his dismay, Illidan cannot make sense any characters in the ruler. So he intends to visit a bard who is both his friend and teacher. The bard lives in another island near his home, so he have to take a boat to there. Surprisingly, the characters mean Illidan is the one who is chosen to be the king of Kalimdor. The reality is so unbelievable that bump into the bowl at the table. It really shocks Illidan a lot. Finally he accepts it calmly.
The next day, Illidan with complex emotion come into the palace which displays the sword. He scoops up some holy water from the bottle in palace to clean his hands and takes a deep breath. Then Illidan draw the sword without any hesitation. At that moment, he realizes he is already being the king; he must take responsibility to all of his people and lead them to defend the homeland. The prophet shed tears of excitement when the moment he saw the sword was drew. Afterwards, he takes out a seal to give Illidan and told him it is a symbol of being the king.
The situation for Kalimdor is more and more turbulent, so Illidan decide to initiate counter-attack immediately. The next day, Illidan who wears a mantle and rides a horse leads the troops into battle. Rely on the magic of the sword and Illidan’s unique wisdom, the troops get all victories.
A new era of peace is coming. Rightly, the Illidan’s head is printed on the coins for eternal commemoration.
